Unstrung Harpist produces original works and breathes new life into classical material by experimenting boldly with sight, sound, and movement. We present works that tackle deep human issues that are the unnoticed undercurrent of our lives: issues like religion and spirituality, political turmoil, mental illness, and cultural upheaval. Theatre that takes risks can challenge us to reexamine aspects of humanity and culture that society often takes for granted. Moreover, it continually reinvents what its medium is capable of. That is art's duty, and Unstrung Harpist's mission.
